I’m about to get a bit personal, but here goes.

I don’t watch Glee regularly, but I happened to watch the “Dance With Somebody” episode. There was one scene in this episode that was very familiar to me. Afterward, I searched for the episode online and typed out the dialogue. It starts out funny, but it becomes pretty much identical to what happened to me last year.

Blaine: Okay, if we’re here to be brutally honest, there are a few things that I’d like to change.

Kurt: I’m actively listening.

Blaine: Well for starters, Kurt has a tendency to snap his fingers at wait staff. The cheesecake is on its way, Kurt, you don’t have to snap your fingers, it isn’t going to make it come any faster.

Kurt: I hear you and that’s something to work on.

Blaine: Also, please stop slipping bronzer into my moisturizer.

Kurt: You look good with a little colour.

Blaine: I only use lotion on my hands! It looks weird if a person just has tanned hands.

Emma: Okay Kurt, wouldn’t you love Blaine just as much as if he didn’t have tanned hands? 

Blaine: And while we’re being perfectly honest, I don’t like that with every conversation we always end up talking about NYADA. What song you’re going to sing, what outfit you’re going to wear to your callback, how amazing New York is, and it’s like, New York is the only thing we talk about now, Kurt, and it’s like… it’s like you can’t even wait to get out of here. How’s that supposed to make me feel? In a few months, you’re going to be gone. This brand new life, brand new friends, band new everything… And I’m going to be right here. By myself… You’re right. I have been distant. And I’m sorry. But I’m just trying to practice what it’d be like without you. You are the love of my life, Kurt. I’m pissed off that I have to learn, for the next year, what being alone is going to be like.

Kurt: But you’re not going to be alone! I’m going to Skype you every day and you’re going to come and visit me in New York every weekend as far as I’m concerned. But I promise, you’re not going to lose me.

Blaine: I love you so much.

Kurt: I love you too.

I adore Blaine and that second gif makes my heart ache.
